Important points (continued)

• Do not fill multiple application incase of any issue. Multiple applications will be rejected.

• Fee can be paid through debit/credit card of any bank or through e-challan of Syndicate/canara/ICICI/HDFC bank.

• Apply from a machine with good internet and use a scanner for scanning any photos or documents.

• Lets start with application procedure

Step-I (continued)• You will be seeing a page with instructions for

filling application form. Kindly go through the instructions completely.

Select central board of secondary education if from

CBSE

• In the next page select following if you are writing only Paper-I

• Select below if you are writing both paper-I and paper-II

• For mode of exam select “Pen and Paper based” if you want to write offline. “computer based” if you want to write online.

• Don’t select any random examination center(like Port Blair) for any option, you might end up getting it.

• In case you are attempting paper -I, paper- II both, please choose option accordingly

• Question paper medium –English• In personal details, fill your details according to

your 10Th certificate. [Name, Fathers name & category]

• Please choose your password according to the conditions given.

• Remember your password, Security question and its answer. These are compulsory incase of password recovery.

• After you submit your form, you will be asked to review the details, review twice and do “Final submit”

Step-I completion• Once you submit you will be able to see your

application number as below Note down your application number immediately before

session expires

If session expires, you login through

application number and password.

Application number is very important

Step-II• Following are the requirements for uploading

images of photograph, signature and thumb impression

Step-II (Photo graph)• Your scanned copy of photograph should be clear. • It can be a color or black&white.• It should contain name of candidate and date on which

picture is taken as below.

• Ask the studio person to edit your picture to above format. • Do not take photograph with goggles or caps. (Spectacles are

allowed though.)• Keep 8-10 copies of the same photo for seat allocation and

joining purposes

Step-II (thumb impression)

• Candidates should upload Left Hand Thumb impression.

• In case if a student does not have a Left hand, they should upload Right Hand Thumb impression.

• Any finger impression can be used in case if both thumbs are not there.

Step-II• After uploading images see preview before final

uploading

Step-III• Before going for fee payment please re-check the

details again. You cant edit the details after fee payment.

• Once take the print of all the details given in the application for future references

Step-III• By selecting appropriate payment option you can

complete the application process

Step-III• After payment is done, download

Acknowledgement Slip and keep the same in safe custody for future reference.

• In case the acknowledgment page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and amount will be refunded to the candidate account with in a week

• The candidate has to make another transaction till the Acknowledgment Page is generated.

• Incase of challan payment, if acknowledgement is not generated kindly visit respective bank branch for updating of the transaction
