Dear Parents/Guardians,
As most of you have heard by now the Department of Public Health has announced the first confirmed case of EV-D68 in a Connecticut child. I am attaching information from the DPH on the virus. We have been monitoring the number of absences from school and have noticed no spikes or abnormalities. The methods of prevention are basically the same as the common cold. Therefore, I ask that you read the information provided in the following link and to ensure that if your child has any symptoms that you keep them at home. Thank you for you continued support and cooperation.
Sincerely,
David C. Harding David C. Harding

This year the PTA CES School Student Directory will be distributed through the Digital Backpack*.
Going Green will not only help our environment by not printing approximately 200 multi-page directories, but it will also enable you to have this information accessible at your fingertips, with the ease to ‘search & find’ more efficiently.
Previous CES Directories were provided to families free of charge with the help of local sponsor contributions – the new electronic directory will allow those local business’ to use these funds to sponsor other local events/functions.
PLEASE
COMPLETE
THE REVERSE SIDE
OF THIS FORM
AND RETURN
TO SCHOOL
BY FRI. 10/10/14
*Parents who do not have access to the digital backpack may request a printed copy by contacting the office.

The goal of the Willington PTA is to provide services and activities to enhance educational experiences for the children of Center Elementary and Hall Memorial schools. You do not need to be a member to attend a PTA meeting or function, however membership is strongly encouraged to help support our organization! The Willington PTA consists on Active & Inactive members. You must be a member (Active or Inactive) to vote at scheduled meetings.
•Active Members are parents or faculty who support the PTA by volunteering their time and/or services. Active members may choose to attend PTA meetings.

We accept new membership & volunteers throughout the school year! We are always looking for new ideas and fresh faces to attend our meetings, and volunteer to help make the Willington PTA a successful organization and create a better community.
