Part I: Greeting

Before the Greeting Begins

At Sanctuary doors, passing out the Order of Service

At Welcome Table, greeting and directing newcomers

How to Greet

Three Accessibility Lifts

1. At the parking lot entrance, connecting to main level

How to Use the Lifts

Both doors, on each story, must be closed

All three keys must be turned to “ON” Inside the lift Outside lift, at lower story Outside lift, at upper story

Ushering Basics

Your team leader will assign you an aisle Reserve your seat before worship Listen for the cue from the worship

Are You Counting?

Middle aisles get a blue “count sheet” Who to count: Everyone (adults and kids) Count opposite side of sanctuary Don’t count the choir When to count: During the “Anthem” Drop count sheet in offering basket Count reported to UUA Your count sheet is your cheat sheet

Double Offerings

To collect special exercises—surveys, pledge forms, feedback

Worship leader will give you the cue Special baskets Otherwise, just like a regular offering Worshippers may get the two offerings
