Discussion on血e minutes from March 9 was briefly held regarding the Yancey proposal on血e generator
relocation and the status of obtain血g more bids and infomation was requested. Pam Crosby addressed
the question and advised血at也e process of researching add誼onal bids from reliねle sources was in
Place. She added that JWSC cunently has an annual Preventative Maintenance contract w弧Yancey and
血at they are our preferred provider for services on JWSC’s generators at this time. Yancey lS aCtively
WOrking with the Fleet Manager / Procurement in providing more infomation on the details invoIved

Mr.九mkin advised that the Request For Proposal was released for血e Design偲uild Services for血e 20 1 6
SPLOST North Mainland Sewer Improvements PrQject-Phase l. This portion of血e Pr匂ect will serve to
address血e immediate demand needs for capacity The餌I process for Phase l from RFP to completion
should tckeねout l l months. The Design偲uild process is being done on this Pr匂ect in order to expe(揖e
provision of capacity, and allow JWSC to move as fast as possible to resolve瓜e North Mainl紬d issues.
The expectation is血at a Design Engmeer Will be provided the large scope ofwhat is needed’and then
layout血e p宣an for how to proceed狐d execute the design at a Guar紬teed MaKimum Price for Prq]eCt
construction and completion. The Proposers will be required to prese血a 30% design within their fomal
Proposal for consideration of award ofthe Prqject.

Pam Crosby presented to也e Commi鵬e血at血e血vitation For Bid for血e construction portion ofthe Li龍
Station 4048 Force Main Improvements PrQject No. 701 had been advertised and posted. She advised
Apri1 14 is血e Pre-Qua睡cation Application deadline, On Apri1 20 the qua睡ed bidder list will be
released,狐d the Bid due date is Apri1 28. At血is point, SOme Ofthe bidders had expressed concemわout
the Horizontal Directional Dri11王ng component of血e pr匂ect and血e railroad crossmg mVOlved. Pam also
advised that the 2 railroad pemits were already in process, and noted was也at血e timeline for血e PrQject
WaS reVised from 180 days to 120 days.
3. Update on Gcorgia DNR Joint Disaster R耽overy and Redevelopme皿t剛an - J. Sellers
Jay Sellers presented to血e Committee血at in May of2016, through血e DNR, JWSC was able to get a
grant to study cr誼cal infrastructure of water & sewer assets as a supplement to the Brunswick Glym
County Joint Disaster Recovery and Redevelopment Plan. The study was conducted dy Hagerty
Consu距ng and concemed sea level rise紬d how it would a餓加infras億ucture. Lisa Damer,
representative from Hagerty Consulting, Will meet wi血Staff for discussion on血e hi如points of血e
Study on May 4, and血en present血e findings on血e same day to血e Commission at血e 2:00 meedng.
