Examples and How To Make Your Own

• First, think of a creative “picture” that you want to make (like the examples you’ve just seen).

• Then, find objects that you can use that will look like the shapes that you need for your picture.

• Once you’ve done that, take the objects into the darkroom. Set the enlarger like you would for a contact sheet (2 clicks from the dimmest light with the light taking up the entire area of the photo paper).

• Turn your light off, put a piece of photo paper UNDER THE GLASS. Then lay your objects on top of the glass to make your picture.

• Set the timer for 10-12 seconds, and then process your paper in the trays.
