proudly servicing guests since 1834. Sitting on the site of the old
Britannia Brewery, The Britannia is steeped in history.
Boasting not one but two contemporary function rooms named
Monty and Willow, The Britannia is the perfect venue for all events.
Think intimate cocktail parties, weddings, birthdays, corporate
events and team building. With its own bar and scullery, two 60” HD
television screens, audio system and air conditioning Monty and
Willow cater for every occasion.
Our experienced kitchen team, led by Head Chef Mahi, have created
an extensive collection of menus made from fresh, seasonal produce.
From canapes to three course dining menus we provide a variety of
options to suit your needs however please do not hesitate to contact
us with any specific requirements and we will always do our best to
accommodate.

▪ Our private dining room consists of 7 beautiful oak tables arranged in a
rectangle with comfortable padded chairs around the outside.
▪ For smaller groups, we adjust the number of tables in accordance to the
number of delegates to create a more intimate set up.

Willow

▪ Room is versatile - Can be made up into a more casual space if desired.

Monty and Willow
▪ If needing to accommodate for 20 + guests, or just needing the extra
space, our sliding door opens to comfortably accommodate up to 60
delegates
▪ Often been used when companies require a break out room for separate
tasks/activities/ meetings.

Our two elegant first floor rooms offer the perfect space for your exclusive use.
Both rooms are beautifully designed, contemporary meeting rooms suitable for all occasions.
Monty & Willow can be booked together as a suite or used individually depending on the size and nature of your group. Both rooms have their own
entrances, are air conditioned, and have individual sound systems. Each room has access to the private scullery and bar.

seasonal main menu. From Young’s ale bangers and mash to Young’s ale

Your booking is confirmed once we have received payment of your deposit or room hire
charge.
Deposit payments will be credited to your final bill on the day of your party.
Pre-payment of any room hire charge, £10 per guest for private dining or meetings and 50% of any other pre-ordered food and drink is required in advance of your arrival.
We require a deposit of £10pp for private or corporate bookings and 50% payment in advance for all pre-orders.
Your deposit or room hire charge is fully refundable up to 28 days prior to the date of your event. After this date all deposits and room hire charges will be retained as a cancellation
charge.
Any pre-payments made over and above the minimum payment will be fully refundable.
When pre-ordering food, we ask that you confirm your final bill, your order and the final number of guests attending your event at least 7 days prior to your party. Please note that
the confirmed numbers and menu choices will reflect your final food bill.
On arrival we will kindly ask you for a card to act as a guarantee against all additional food and drink ordered on the day.
A 12.5% service charge will be added to your final food and drinks bill.
We’re very proud of Monty & Willow so please chat to us about any decorations that you are planning prior to your party.
Any other planned entertainment must be agreed in advance with the General Manager.
In the unlikely event that any damage is caused to our premises we will ask you to cover the cost of repair.

Visit us in Allen Street, just off Kensington High Street. We are around five
minutes’ walk from the tube station for the District and Circle lines. On -street
meter parking is available around the pub and is free after 6.30pm and on
Sundays. There is longer-stay parking available at the Town Hall and NCP in
Young Street.

Securing your booking
We are delighted to provisionally hold a
booking date for your event for up to a
maximum of 14 days. Should we receive
another enquiry during this time please
be aware that we reserve the right to
ask you for immediate confirmation in
writing, or we may release the date due
to popular demand. Confirmation,
Deposit & Pre-Payment
Your booking is provisional until we
receive a signed booking form and a
deposit payment of £X / % of the agreed
minimum spend. A second payment of
50% of the agreed minimum spend is
required 3 months before your event
date.
Cancellation policy
In the unlikely event of cancellation
please consider there is a 50%
cancellation charge 3 months before
your booked date
Amendments
We reserve the right to amend your
quotation should your guest numbers
and/or catering requirements
dramatically alter between paying your
deposit and balance.
Amendments to guest numbers made
after payment of the balance must be
confirmed to the venue in writing and
at least 7 working days prior to your
event.
No charge will be made for any
reduction in guest numbers if they do
not fall below 6 guests in total, and the
venue receives notice of the reduction
at least 7 working days prior to your
event.
Equipment & extra furniture
If your event plans require us to hire
in any special catering equipment or
extra furniture, we will let you know
the cost implications to you well in
advance.
Service charge
An optional 12.5% service charge will
be added to your final food and drinks
bill.
Damage
You are responsible for any damage
caused to the hotel or any of its
fixtures and fittings or any part of the
grounds. The cost of repairing any
such damage by your guests must be
reimbursed to the hotel. The extra mile
