Feeling some nervousness before giving speech is natural and even beneficial, but too much nervousness can be detrimental. Here are some proven tips on how to control your butterflies and give better presentations.

OPENING

1. Know your material

Find a topic that you are interesting in. know more about it than you include in your speech. Use humor, personal stories or your own experience and conversational language – that way you won’t easily forget what you want to say.

3. Know the audience

“Put your self on their shoes!” give the appropriate material base on your audience necessity and greet them as they are arrived. It can make you easy to speak in front of them.

4. Know the room

Come early, walk around and feel the place pretend as your private place so you will easy relax and feels like in home. Exercise your speech using the equipment, recheck again the weakness.

5. Relax

Begin by addressing your audience. Give your best smile. Feel the as your friends. It buys your time and calms your nerves. Pray before saying anything and count it down, one.. two… three… begin, and the stage is yours!

6. Visualize yourself giving your speech

Imagine yourself speaking, feel your voice whether is loud or not. Visualize the audience clapping – it will boost your confidence.

7. Realize that people want you to succeed

Audiences want you to be interesting, stimulating, informative and entertaining. They are rooting for you!

8. Concentrate on the message

Focus your attention away from your own anxieties and concentrate on your message and your audience.

9. Outline your speech…

Developing your main points. Developing sub points. Conclude, summarize and completing

your speech.

10. Gain experience

Mainly, your speech should represent you - as an authority and as a person. Experience builds confidence, which the key to effective speaking.
