SOMBATI
Sombati is a world music band based in Fort Worth, Texas. Our passion isbringing music from across the globe to life. We are folk musicians in thetrue sense - we make full use of the instruments and repertoire available tous. We play both traditional tunes and original compositions in a variety ofstyles including Middle Eastern, Central & Western European, Celtic, Latin,folk, cabaret, and Americana. We put on a high energy, family friendlyshow, and are equally comfortable on large stages or street corners.

Steve Mixon – hailing from Houston by way of theSanta Cruz belly dance scene, Steve has anastounding knowledge of European, middleeastern, folk and bluegrass music. His instrumentsinclude mandolin, mandocello (shown), octavemandolin, accordion, bass, and guitar.
Belinda Daughtry - Mansfield's queen of the klezmerclarinet, Belinda also plays hurdy-gurdy (shown),saxophone, mountain dulcimer, and bulbul-tarang.
Garry Brunson - with an amazingcollection of percussion instrumentsfrom all corners of the globe, Garry isprepared no matter what we try next.
Deborah Titus - music educator, flutist, and collaborative pianist,Deborah works as a freelance musician, playing for soloists,choirs, musicals, and operas. With Sombati, she plays all kinds offlutes, Irish whistles, and the occasional growler.
Eric Covington – a Fort Worth native, Eric learnedtuba in public school & upright bass from BundyVarga. A past member of the TAMU InternationalMusic Club, he also plays guitar & accordion.
