Presentation Objectives

■ Participants will understand the Eight State Priorities for the LCAP

■ Participants will provide input on how the school can improve student achievement, attendance rates and parent involvement

LCAP Focus Areas

The LCAP is comprised of planned services/actions directly related to three focus areas:

1) Conditions of Learning

2) Engagement

3) Pupil Outcomes

Each goal in the LCAP has a set of measurements that are monitored annually.

Goal 1: The performance and opportunity gap will be eliminated - all students will graduate college and/or career ready.

In Table Groups you will discuss and answer the following questions:

Engagement – What do you feel would best help students attend school on a regular basis? What can be done to ensure students feel connected to part of the school?

School Climate – What suggestions do you have to make your school an engaging place for students, parents and staff?

Student Achievement - What services can we provide to better meet the needs of English learners, foster youth, socio-economically disadvantaged, advanced students, and students with special needs?
