CHICKENALFREDO DIP

Ingredients:• 3 Tbsp butter or margarine• 3Tbspflour• ½ tsp salt• 1 tsp dried parsley• ½ tsp garlic, minced• 1 cup chicken broth

• 1 cup milk• ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese• 1 cup shredded mozzarella, divded• 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)• Canned chicken (equivalent to about 2 cups)

Direction:Alfredo Sauce1. Inaskillet,meltbutterovermediumheat.Whiskinflouruntilmixtureissmooth.2. Sprinkle in salt, parsley and garlic. Cook for one minute.3. Addmilkandbroth,whiskinguntilcombined.Continuetocookandwhiskmixtureovermediumheatuntilithas thickened and smoothed. 4. Stir in cheeses (parmesan and ½ cup of mozzarella) until melted.

Alfredo Dip5. Beatcreamcheeseinamixingbowluntilsmooth.Addalfredosauceandbeatuntilcombined.Slowlystirinchicken.6. Spread into a baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.7. Bake for 15-20 minutes once the oven has been preheated. It should be bubbly and beginning to brown.8. Serve hot with veggies, crackers or bread.

*Note: if you don’t’ want to serve immediately, you can cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days until you’re ready to bake.
