Mass Cards and Spiritual Bouquets
Parishioners are welcome to come to the office to request
a Mass Card or a Spiritual Bouquet. The Mass Card is a
remembrance by which we offer an announced Mass for
the repose of the soul of the deceased person or for the
intentions of the living. The Spiritual Bouquet is an en-
rollments in which we remember the person enrolled at
Mass offered every week for both living and deceased.

Is a philanthropy-based, urban, independent, Catho-
lic school in Boston’s historic South End that serves
360 boys and girls of all faiths and backgrounds.
With an increased focus on STEAM-based educa-
tion, Cathedral is building an Applied Learning
Center and adding new academic programs and
learning spaces.
In addition to classroom learning, Cathedral stu-
dents learn hands-on through partnerships including
MedScience with Harvard University School of
Medicine, a marketing class with Connelly Partners,
design-based learning with AutoDesk, a business
and mentoring program with Fidelity Investments,
financial literacy workshops, and more.
Cathedral continues to accept applications for the
2017-2018 school year on a rolling basis. For more

CUA, located in Washington, D.C., is the national
university of the Catholic Church. Many priests
and professional lay ministers throughout the US
obtain their education from CUA. For more infor-

Dear Brothers:
Cardinal Seán has authorized a special collection,
to be taken the weekend of September 9-10 in all
parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston, in support of
the relief efforts to those areas devastated by Hurri-
cane Harvey. There has been loss of life, property
and livelihoods.
The funds collected in this one-time special appeal
will be used to support the humanitarian and recov-
ery efforts of Catholic Charities USA, the official
domestic relief of the U.S. Catholic Church, and
will provide pastoral and rebuilding support to dio-
ceses in those areas impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
The hurricane has affected southeast Texas, includ-
ing the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, and
could also strike Louisiana.
Catholic Charities USA and their member agencies
respond to immediate emergency needs for such
necessities as shelter, clean water, food, and medi-
cal care as well as to the long term need to rebuild
and recover after widespread destruction, and to the
United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for
pastoral and reconstruction needs of the Church.
All monies collected will be distributed by the
USCCB to Catholic Charities USA.

Cardenal Seán a autorizado una colecta especial para
tomarse el fin de semana del 9 al 10 de septiembre en

English Speaking Faith Formation The themes for
this year will be: let the children come!, “the year
of Mercy”, the gospels, the sacraments, the church
and prayer. Parents are the role models for their
children's faith and are the primary educators in
their children's faith formation. We want to partner
with you and help your children become living and
faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. This is done
through religious education classes, using an ap-
proved published curriculum and sharing the Eu-
charist.

Retreats God’s forgiveness knows no bounds-
Pope Francis. The Project Rachel ministry of the
Archdiocese of Boston extends a special initiation
to women suffering form the pain of a past abortion
to attend a Come to the Waters of Healing one -day
retreat. Fall dates are September 16, October 14 and
November 11. Location are confidential. Limited
