- 2. Position Freelance Writer, NYC Thrillest Media Group is
hiring a freelance writer to contribute bar, restaurant, nightlife,
and event articles for its New York edition on an ongoing basis.
Thrillest provides an opportunity to create exciting content that
both local and visiting readers will find entertaining and
informative, as well as share with friends on social media. The
ideal candidate has an intimate knowledge of the restaurant and bar
scene in New York, as well as experience as a food, nightlife
and/or destination guide writer in digital media. Additionally,
candidates with strong photography skills with a DSLR camera are
preferred. An understanding of SEO and social media is critical.
This is a chance to work with a winning team in the mens interest

blog with hundreds of loyal readers per day. -4+ years of menswear
experience working at Mens Wearhouse -Completed an in-depth
photography training which included work with Adobe Photoshop
- 6. Why Me? Educated & Trained -Bachelors Degree in
Communications with a concentration in Professional Writing and a
minor in Business Administration -Completed a week intensive
journalism program at Franklin Pierce University -Completed a
hosting boot camp with Marki Costello, top host trainer in Los
Angeles. This would allow me to do effective video blogging if
necessary.

- 8. Why me? Location and street smarts I am the type of person
that can meet anyone anywhere. This has served me well as far as
making connections but it is even more helpful when learning new
hot places in an area. Therefore, although I dont have specific
nightlife writing experience, I know New York City well and think
that I could easily master this task.

innovative and knowledgeable woman on many topics that relate to
men, I can easily help Thrillest Media Group conquer any challenges
they face in terms of engagement, technological aspects, social
media, and content. I dont foresee Thrillest currently having many
challenges on my end, but if I get the job, I would be more than
willing to look on their end and see how Thrillest can make changes

Group loves to have fun while getting work done and I couldnt
relate to that philosophy more. I strongly believe in a team
environment and am a committed player. I not only can laugh at
myself, but can be serious when work needs to be done. Therefore, I
would fit into the Thrillest family like no other. Life is suppose
to be enjoyed to the fullest and that is displayed through all the
articles on Thrillest.com, I would easily be able to convey that
mindset through my writing as well. I know I would be the perfect

- 15. Did you know The average human spends thirty seven minutes
per day using social media? (Karr, 2015). With that high of a
number, Thrillest Media Group needs to be utilizing it as best as
possible. With my knowledge and experience on optimizing growth
through social media, I can help Thrillest reach a wider audience.
Also, YouTube reaches more US adults aged 18-34 than any cable
network (Bennett, 2014). Considering a main portion of Thrillests
target audience is watching videos on YouTube, they should have
their own channel and be producing quality segments/vlogs; all of
which I know how to execute well!
