APPARIO NEWSLETTER - KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE! OCT 2013

If not, don’t worry - follow these simple steps:

Networking is a key-skill in sales. Great sales people are also great networkers. For them networking is a life skill. They are permanently looking for new contacts, building new and strong relationships, and they attend almost every event.

Five major tips for networkers:

1. Don’t expect too much at the beginning. Networking is a “long-term thing”. When you talk to people, don’t see the potential business, see the new relationship. 2. Take every chance. Don’t analyze too much before you attendany event. Your success is mainly based on how often you “show up” - it’s hard work too.

3. Relax. It’s a first contact and you have to impress and attract atthis point of time. It’s not the moment to sell - you don’t have that time anyway, since you want to meet many new contacts.

4. Attend some networking groups regularly. The more you knowthese people, the easier it will be to generate first business out ofthis group.

5. Follow-up. Too many so-called “networkers” do not follow up. In other words, they are not networkers. People have toremember you and they have to recognize your interest to help, not to sell!

All in all it’s a long-term process, characterized by hard work but also by an amazing result - MORE BUSINESS!

Cheers,
