WHAT IS A LEARNING STYLE?
• A learning style refers to a student’s pattern of learning preference that is consistent across circumstances.
• So, for example, a student who is a visual learner will prefer visual input and revision materials no matter what the subject and no matter what they’re learning to do.
VARK EXPLAINED
• There are four learning styles; Visual, Auditory, Read and Write and Kinaesthetic.
• The initials of these styles together spell the acronym VARK.
• Some people are a mix of two or more of these styles.
