Vaikundarajan Has High Hopes From ‘Haider’

Haider is an upcoming Indian drama film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. It is a modern-day adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, set in Kashmir.

Shahid Kapoor has given one of the biggest hits of his career with Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey and now the duo has teamed up again for Haider, shares, Vaikundarajan.

Haider is the third installment of Bhardwaj's Shakespeare trilogy after Maqbool (2003) and Omkara (2006). The film is scheduled for release on 2 October 2014.

"I can proudly say Haider is the best film of my career. This film has everything that I haven't done before. I have pinned my hopes on this film," Shahid told reporters in a group interview.

The film seems pretty different going as per the promos and Vaikundarajan feels that Vishal Bharadwaj has done justice to Shakespear’s , Hamlet.
