Chennai Born Sundar Pichai Appointed CEO of Google Says Vaikundarajan

Ever so often a name comes to the news that makes India proud. Sundar Pichai’s name is the cause of much joy and pride in India as of now since his appointment as the CEO of Google says Vaikundarajan.

The founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergy Brin will now be leading the newly renamed Alphabet. Alphabet is the newest and yet the parent arm of the giant Google.

Alphabet will be responsible for all the new ventures such as research lab X arm,

Pichai joined Google in 2004, the year the company launched Gmail. He was in charge of product and engineering for the company’s internet businesses says Vaikundarajan.

Sundar was born and bred in Chennai, he studied engineering at IIT-Kharagpur, then came to Stanford in the US, and went on to complete an MBA from Wharton School of Business.
