1. Processtheblackpeppertillfreshlyground.Youcaneitherdothisinthethermomix(3secondsonspeed8,scrapeandrepeatasrequired),withapestleandmortarorinaspicegrinder.Ifyouusethethermomix,setasidethepepper,thenwashanddrythebowl.

2. Weigh70gofturmericpowderintothethermomixbowl,tarethenadd250gwater.3. Processfor10minutes,at90degreesonspeed1withthemc(measuringcup)off.

Checkthemix2-3timesduringthis10minutes,andifneeded,scrapedownthesidesandremoveanylumpsofftheblades.Ifthemixturestartstodryoutduringthe10minutes,addenoughwatersothatitremainsaslightlyrunnyconsistency.

4. Add80gofcoconutoil,andthefreshlygroundblackpepper.Processfor1minute,speed4,mcon.

5. Foralighterpaste(optional)insertthewhiskattachment.Processfor1minuteatspeed3.5,mcon.

6. Transfertoasterilejar.Thepastewillhardenasitcools.Storeinthefridge,canbekeptforupto2weeks.Ifyouhaveextra,freezeitinportionsizes(ice-cubetray)anddefrostthemasrequired.
