Duringtheearlyyearsofhisdentalpractice,MarkservedonamedicalmissionscommitteefortheChurchofGod.Theyshare,“ItwasthroughthisgroupthatwefirstfeltGodcallingustogoonaweeklongmissiontriptoHaiti,wheresomebasicdentistrywasdesperatelyneeded.WhileinHaiti,GodplacedthepeopleofHaitiinourhearts,andweknewthat

thetripwasjustthefirststepofanadventurewiththeLordinHaiti.InHaitiMarkwilloverseeandimprovebusinessoperationsattheoutpatientclinicinHaiti.Hewillalsocoordinateandleadshort-termmedicaltripstoprovidemedicalservicesnototherwiseavailableintheSt.Ardarea.KathywillidentifyandtrainHaitianpersonneltoperformbookkeepingandaccountingdutiescompliantwithHaitianandU.S.governmentstandards.ShewillalsoprovidespeechtherapyservicesatEnglish-speakingHaitianschools.Throughtheyears,theFultonshaveworkedwithothermissionariesandmissionorganizationstoestablishamedicalclinicin

Arecentsurveyrevealedthatoneofthemostconfusingthingsforstudentsinthechurchwastheinconsistencysomewitnessedathomeregardingwhattheirparentssaidascomparedtowhattheirparentsdid.Proverbs4hasagreatdealtosayaboutimportantprinciplesoflifethatshouldbemodeledwithconsistency.Itisagreatpassageforparentstoutilizeonadailybasisinparentingtheirchildren.

thevillageofSt.Ard,Haiti.In2005,the8,000-square-footclinicofficiallyopenedandnowemploystwentyindigenouspersonnelwhoprovidemedical,dental,andbasiccaretotheunderservedpopulationinthatarea.Astheclinicwasbeingdeveloped,theFultonsrealizedthattheyneededassistanceinthemanagementoftheclinicaswellasaccountabilityfortheministry,whichbirthedMissionHaitiMedicalInc,anonprofitorganization.MPC’shaslongsupportedMissionHaitiMedicalandChristiansBroadcastingHope(CBH)whichisworkingtowardsthedevelopmentandlaunchofanewCreolebroadcastinHaiti.Thebroadcaststudioisbeingconstructedintheclinicbuilding.BothministriesareapartoftheMPCmission’sbudgetandmanyMPC-goershavetraveledwithCBHandwiththeFulton’sandcaughttheirpassionastheyservedinHaiti.Thecomplexityandtimecommitmenttomanagetheclinicarecontinuingtogrowasservicesareconstantlybeingadded.MarkandKathyshare,“OurcalltoHaitihascontinuedtogrowstronger,andnowwiththedemandsoftheclinicbecominggreaterandgreater,Godhasplacedituponourheartstomovetothecountrywhereourcallwasoriginallyfelt.”
