Enhance quality assurance byimplementing best practices
The increasing demands made on documentation and detailed
guidelines for endoscope reprocessing can become a true
challenge: The complex nature of endoscope reprocessing
and handling implies high demands on their handling, cleaning,
storage and transportation. Endoscopes involve an increased
risk of cross-contamination when compared with surgical
instruments. Furthermore, in many facilities, the number of
endoscopes is limited, thus requiring increased stock manage-
ment and reduction of unnecessary reprocessing.
T-DOC EndoSolutions provide you with the necessary tools
to overcome these challenges. T-DOC EndoSolutions can be
tailored to cover your specific needs, whether they are basic or
advanced.
Achieve total traceability of your endoscopes
Total traceability is ensured as T-DOC registers and documents
all processes, machines, patients, operations, doctors, etc.
that an endoscope encounters, including its dispatch, usage,
pre-cleaning, cleaning and drying. Reprocessing of the button
valves and other components connected to each endoscope
is documented. Furthermore, LOT numbers of detergents and
cleaning equipment used on endoscopes can be registered.
Traceability is assured by using barcode, RFID and/or other
tracking technologies. You thereby always have a documented
record that the correct processes and procedures were fol-
lowed.
Assure the quality of your production
T-DOC EndoSolutions include a wide range of features to sup-
port quality assurance. Defining handling steps helps ensure
compliance with manual and automated cleaning procedures.
Electronic capturing and storage of machine processes
documents that your endoscopes are correctly reprocessed.
Furthermore, the configurable drying cabinet info overview
facilitates first-in-first-out usage, thus minimizing unnecessary
endoscope reprocessing.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
The numerous T-DOC options for reporting and statistics
enables you to base procedures on best practices and actual
data – not on assumptions. T-DOC EndoSolutions facilitate
compliance with national standards, for example for endo-
scopes’ expire times, rules and handling specifications.
You always have a documented record that your endoscopes
are disinfected correctly and in accordance with your hospital’s
predefined work procedures and local, national and interna-
tional regulatory standards.
Increase patient safety
A high focus on infection control and quality assurance enables
you to minimize the spread of hospital-acquired infections. In
the unfortunate event of contamination, T-DOC EndoSolutions
enable you to quickly and efficiently identify all involved parties.
The affected patients can thus immediately receive the essen-
tial treatment and a potential health risk can be avoided.
“T-DOC EndoSolutions provide guidance and documen-tation for complex endoscope handling, thereby assuring the highest quality for your production”
Complete overview of your endoscopes
The drying cabinet info overview gives quick insight into the
location and expiry times of all endoscopes in the drying and
storage cabinets. It supports first-in-first-out principles and en-
ables departments to optimize usage of available endoscopes.
Endoscopes located in the drying and storage cabinets can
be filtered according to your own criteria, for example, types
of endoscopes or predefined timing rules. Accordingly, the
drying cabinet info overview can filter and show the selected
endoscopes. The overview is accessible from treatment rooms,
enabling surgeons to identify available endoscopes.
Management reporting
Administration is greatly simplified by having data in one central
paperless database. Reports are easy to create and export to
commonly used office programs, or even customized to your
specific needs. You can extract reports on topics such as:
• Turnaround time
• Repair history
• Reprocessing of expired endoscopes
• Recall of endoscopes
3
Ensure correct handling of endoscopes
With T-DOC EndoSolutions you can define local handling types
and handling steps. Assigning different handling types to your
endoscopes ensures that each endoscope is reprocessed ac-
cording to its specific needs.
The on-screen handling steps enable personnel to perform ac-
curate disassembly, manual cleaning and checking of endo-
scopes using images, sound and/or video. The intuitive and
user-friendly touch screen interface provides user guidance at
each location and eliminates the need for a scanner.
T-DOC EndoSolutions can ensure that selected handling steps
are not passed by the user unless the correct work procedures
have been followed and thereby reduce human error factors.

Correct endoscope handling is ensured by user guidance
Minimize the number of expired endoscopes
T-DOC EndoSolutions provide you with a complete overview
of your endoscopes’ expiry times. This is because you can
assign pre-defined expire time rules to all, groups or single
endoscopes. Expiry times can be calculated for all your en-
doscopes based on their type of handling, cleaning, transport
and storage. T-DOC can thereby facilitate compliance with local
and national standards as regards maximum time intervals, for
example, between disinfection, drying process and actual use
on a patient.
T-DOC EndoSolutions can control one or more transport
methods and automatically alert personnel if a time interval has
expired.

Keeping track in the treatment room
Used endoscopes and their related button valves can be linked to a patient or a journal number. The actual cost of patient treatment can be documented and stored. T-DOC alerts personnel if the endoscope is not in appropriate condition.
Transportto the treatment room
The method of transporting endoscopes to the treatment room is registered in T-DOC EndoSolu-tions. T-DOC can also keep control of shortened expiry times while in transport and alerts personnel if the endoscope is not in appropri-ate condition.
Machine process logging
Manually cleaned endoscopes are registered in T-DOC EndoSolutions and linked to their respective disin-fection processes. Any discrepancies between the program registered and the program required are displayed to the user. All process parameters are documented and stored. T-DOC alerts personnel about endoscopes requiring special treatment during the disinfection process.
Manual cleaning, checking and quality control
Each endoscope and their related but-ton valves are manually cleaned and checked according to your hospital’s predefined handling steps. Images and video sequences can be dis-played on your PC to assist in the disassembly, cleaning and checking of the endoscope.
Return of used items
Used endoscopes and their related button valves are returned to the en-doscope reprocessing unit and are registered in T-DOC EndoSolutions. T-DOC alerts personnel about endo-scopes requiring special treatment during reprocessing.
Placement in drying cabinet
When the disinfection process is complete and has been verified, the disinfected endoscope is placed in a drying cabinet. The drying cabinet info overview gives quick insight into expiry times of all endoscopes and indicates endoscope to pick first.
Department dispatch
When endoscopes are dispatched to a department T-DOC Endo-Solutions register to whom the endoscope is sent. T-DOC alerts personnel if the endoscope is not in appropriate condition.
Manage your workflowwith T-DOC EndoSolutions
Administration management
Information concerning endo-scopes, users, processes and much more can be accessed and managed through the T-DOC workstation. All actions carried out during the produc-tion cycle are documented and relevant data can be derived as reports or with simple on-screen queries.

Obtain digital storage of all your data andtailored staff training
Digital data capturing
T-DOC EndoSolutions can be directly interfaced to endoscope
reprocessors for capturing of cycle data such as cycle phases,
time, temperature, detergent and disinfectant exposure. All data
is captured and stored digitally in T-DOC EndoSolutions and
can be displayed as charts, graphs or in a simple list format.
Therefore, historical data can quickly be located and retrieved
whenever necessary. Performance data can be captured from
all Getinge AERs and drying cabinets and from selected 3rd
party machines.
Implement paperless process management
T-DOC EndoSolutions enable a fully-digital workflow by provi-
ding digital storage of your machine data and detergent/
disinfectant exposure. This eliminates the need for storing an
endless number of binders with process data printouts.
Additionally, manual handling of disinfection process documen-
tation is kept to an absolute minimum.
