Haiti Children Clothing Mission “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of
mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40 A medical mission started 6 years ago by Marilyn Cluka and Joan Guite travels to Haiti and helps Dr. Manno, a local Haitian doctor, to provide medical care to an orphanage and hundreds of people in northern Haiti. This orphanage was built in Cape Haitian, Haiti, by the local Catholic Church after the 2010 earthquake. We have learned that the children are in need of clothing to wear to church on Sundays. Seven churches from Moose Lake, Kettle River and Denham have joined together to meet this need. Each church is asked to provide 4 children with new church outfits. If you would like to take on one child’s cloth-ing needs or give a donation toward the purchase of clothing please call Pam Stone at 651-285-1895 or Renee in the office 485-4800 as soon as possible. The clothing needs to be ready by February 1, 2017 to go on the next mission trip to Haiti.
