VIRTUS is Now CMG Safe Haven CMGConnect online training replaces the former
Archdiocesan Safe Environment Program. The new program
consists of video presentations, with a criminal background
check at the end of the training. Individuals are now required
to complete all Safe Environment Training online.
All clergy, employees, contracted school personnel, and
volunteers over the age of 18, who work in any capacity
with or around children, the elderly, and adults with
special needs are required to complete the Safe Environment
Online Training. All individuals listed above must submit to
a criminal background check before they may begin
employment or volunteer with ministries, groups, movements, and organizations.
In addition, all individuals listed above must complete the
mandatory online renewal training upon the 5 year
anniversary of the prior training and submit a new
background check as a condition of continued ministry and/or
continued employment in this Archdiocese.

Together in Holiness Marriage Conference

Two Locations: St. Theresa in Sugar Land, and
Sts. Simon and Jude in The Woodlands
The St. John Paul II Foundation presents the 5th annual
Together in Holiness conference, in collaboration with the
Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. This one-day event
includes dynamic presentations, Mass, Eucharistic Adoration,
and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The featured speakers
are Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers and Most Rev. Joseph E.
Strickland; breakout sessions at each location will discuss
living the vocation of marriage as a young growing family or as empty-nesters. On-site childcare is available (2-12yrs),
pre-registration required. Cost: $59/couple or $35/
individual. An early bird discount is available until August 5

VIRTUS AHORA ES CMG SAFE HAVEN La capacitación en línea de CMGConnect reemplaza al
antiguo Programa Arquidiocesano de Ambiente Seguro. El
nuevo programa consiste de presentaciones en video, con una
verificación de antecedentes penales al final de la
capacitación. Ahora se requiere que las personas completen
toda la Capacitación de Ambiente Seguro en línea.
Se requiere que todos los miembros del clero, empleados,
personal escolar contratado y voluntarios mayores de 18 años
que trabajen en cualquier capacidad con o alrededor de
niños, ancianos y adultos con necesidades especiales completen la capacitación en línea para un ambiente seguro.
Todas las personas mencionadas anteriormente deben
someterse a una verificación de antecedentes penales antes
de que puedan comenzar a trabajar o ser voluntarios en
ministerios, grupos, movimientos y organizaciones.
Además, todas las personas enumeradas anteriormente deben
completar la capacitación obligatoria de renovación en línea
para el quinto aniversario de la capacitación anterior y

también nos damos cuenta del misterio de cuánto Dios nos
ama y nos cuida cada día. Creyendo en esto, nuestras vidas
pueden desbordarse en acción de gracias y alabanzas.
¿Existe alguna familia que usted conozca que

San Vicente de Paul para que juntos podamos
ayudar a los que están sufriendo.

El mes pasado, con su ayuda, pudimos ayudar a las
personas de nuestra comunidad que tienen dificultades. Sus
donativos permitieron a la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul
ayudar con $3,895 para rentas, $2,668 para servicios,
$2,310 de despensa, $260 en tarjetas de regalo para la
compra de alimentos perecederos y $212 en artículos
misceláneos. Visitamos a 235 personas y completamos 280
horas de servicios.
