CLUB LEVEL AWARDSJosh Fuchs - Most Inspirational
Josh Kaspar
The Josh Fuchs Most Inspirational Player Award was first established and awarded by the Santa Rosa Junior Hockey Club for the 1995-96 season. The award was funded by SRJHC in memory of Josh
Fuchs. This award is for the player who wears his heart on his sleeve, the sleeve of his hockey sweater! It is for the player who encourages his teammates to keep trying, no matter how dire the circumstances. It is for the player who suffers in loss, but never gives up. It is for the player who
looks for his weaknesses and always tries to improve. Winners of the Josh Fuchs Most Inspirational Player Award do not have to be the best, but they have to try their best.
CLUB LEVEL AWARDSWiegand – Most Improved
Ben Evans
The Wiegand Trophy was first established and awarded by the Santa Rosa Junior Hockey Club for the 1970-71 season. Today it is the oldest trophy awarded by the club. This trophy is given to the
player who is judged by coaches to be the most improved hockey player for the season. The trophy was funded by Ellis and Pat Wiegand as a way to recognize those players who made the most
improvement in their skills over the course of a single season.
