Senior Services

All of Interfaith's comprehensive services, including nutritional assistance and housing,

are available to North County seniors in need. However, Interfaith also provides

specialized services and case management to empower vulnerable seniors to

maintain independent and thriving lives. Our goal is to build a community among

seniors while simultaneously enhancing their wellness and food security as they age.

Minor Home Repair and Modification

Operating throughout North County, Interfaith staff and

volunteers assist in making minor home repairs for qualified

seniors. These repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, repairing

screen doors and windows, or installing grab bars or smoke

alarms, make it easier and safer for seniors to stay in their

own homes.

Project CARE

Operating throughout San Marcos and Vista, Project CARE

maintains the well-being and independence of seniors by

providing services including daily phone calls, emergency

medical information packets, and outreach and referrals

for senior services. By connecting seniors to information,

Interfaith enables isolated and disabled seniors to remain

independent as they age.

Support Services

Trained Client Advocates offer social services and referrals

to seniors in need. Support services may include

emergency financial support to ensure seniors can remain

independent and self-sufficient.

North County Senior Connections Lunches

North County Senior Connections lunches provide a social

environment for seniors via Dreams for Change's food truck,

Thyme Together.  North County Senior Connection

locations are strategically located throughout Vista, San

Marcos and Oceanside at mobile home communities and

faith centers. In addition to healthy, prepared-to-order

meals, each lunch includes educational speakers and/or

entertainment.
