Field Experience
• Begins in weeks 3 - 5• Ends in weeks 11 - 14• No more than 3 hours per visit• Should largely be spent observing reading
instruction and teaching small groups or 1-1, also instructing case study student
• Done in a general education K, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade classroom
• Includes doing a case study• Hours must be signed off by a host teacher
on every visit
