Introducing Care Vision
At Care Vision we know that simplifying
means unifying: the many types of
tasks and departments that share
space under your one roof should also
share one integrated system. From
prescriptions and therapies to food
prep, housekeeping, health & safety,
HR and family visits
Where it all started…“Care Vision was born from the challenges of running a care home”
• Homelands, was the first specialist dementia facility in the LondonBorough of Bromley
• Rishi Jawaheer has been a director of the Jawa
Group for over 12 years. His parents came to the
UK from overseas in the 1970s, training as
specialist mental health nurses and later working
as nursing managers in the NHS. The family’s first
dementia care home was established in the
1980s, in SE London
Development of Care Vision
Built from the ground up using the trials and tribulations of running a care home. Each element was carefully planned, through the experience of my parents running homes and combined with love of technology and elderly care
We used our homes to trial the app and software
We collaborated with district nurses, GP’s, families, CQC inspectors and listened to all of their perspectives when developing Care Vision
We worked with other providers and looking at the issues that they face
Solving the problems in care…
Recruitment is the biggest problem that care homes are facing
Finding people who have experience to being able to remember important things
Some of the repetitive statements are time consuming and become more an exercise of repetition rather than specific detail. Manual duplication of records
Not being able to evidence the good care provided
Keeping families updated and working with other healthcare professionals can take up considerable time
Introducing Care Vision
Cloud-based, multi-platform solution. Can be run PC and android. Supports
desktop and laptop computers, tablets and mobile phones
An easy to use, flexible system where you can use what may be relevant to
your service or introduce things at your own pace
Unifies the departments of your service through one system (chef,
housekeeping, accounts, emar…)
Streamlines and make the process more efficient, allows carers to spend
more time with residents
Skill level of the carers in the home in terms of language difficulty,
training…etc can be overcome using Care Vision
Features
Benefits
Engaging the youth into building careers in care through attracting them with technology
From recruitment point of view staff have to learn and become experts in multiple platforms, this can be outlook, word, slack, sage, rota cloud, etc
With care vision all of these needs are met under one roof. Only one system to learn, which makes it easier. From a corporate point of view, different homes can be compared and a dashboard of statistics can instantly highlight were improvements can be made
Transparency for families, not only do they want to be reassured, but this takes a care considerable time communicating every update to family
CQC and compliance officers recognise the potential for positive impact in employing technology to assist care
Care vision is like an electronic manager that never lets you down!

means if you have a care home of 20 residents you can save up to 40-80 staff hours per week,
160-320 staff hours per month. That’s equivalent to 1-2 fulltime staff!
As much as I am an advocate for
technology, certain things cannot
replaced. No software or app is
going to take place of human
touch
CV is designed is to allow the carer
to complete the required work or record keeping elements in the
shortest possible time, so that engaging and caring can be
focused on
