What I did and how?• I chose a PPT file on line (http://www.slideshare.net/sophie17/ppt-
demo-29157282) which is a Database Course Slides containing structured text, images and sometimes videos.
• I present the same content using scrolling approach. • By comparing the two presentation styles, I wanted to figure out how
could scrolling approach complement page-by-page approach

Scrolling approach
• This is the first screen people would see in a presentation. • This screen shows the highest level of content. It could be any title other than “Chapter 1” • When “Chapter1” is clicked, the green cube will be zoomed in and more detailed outline shows
up. (See next page)
• Presenter could choose an entry to go into the presentation page. • We click the first item (Database Management System) as an example. (See next page)
• Since this is the very beginning of the content, the progress bar indicates 0% • Scroll to the next item using arrow keys. (See next)
