1Presentation
El IV Torneig de Cloenda U14 (Pre Infantil)
and U16 (Cadet), set as a closing tournament
in order to finish the sports season in June and
make it a little bit longer and more interesting,
is a championship organized by the Catalan
Basketball Foundation, that counts on the
Catalan Basketball Federation’s support and
collaboration.
This tournament concerns all those teams of
U14 and U16 category, even male or female,
that want to finish their Season playing good
basketball, surrounded by friends and family
and that have not been classified to play their
Playoffs.
Set itself as one of the reference tournaments
of the end-season, the III Torneig de Cloenda
U14 (Pre Infantil) and U16 (Cadet) hosted
over 40 teams, more than 200 players and
60 head coaches, assistant coaches and
staff.
Lloret de Mar, as a town awarded since
2003 with the Sports Destination Tourism
certified by de Catalan Tourism Agency,
has become one of the leading and most
important sports destiny in the country.
2The Participants
The IV Torneig de Cloenda U14 (Pre Infantil)
and U16 (Cadet) is supposed to have a higher participation than the 3rd edition in both men’s and women’s categories.
Teams participating in the tournament will be those which have been playing in any level category of their Basketball Federation league and those who have received an invitation.
They need not to be participating in the Finals of their Championship.
The Catalan Basketball Foundation will be in charge of the whole Torunament, which is level-based to promote a balanced and fun tournament for teams participating.
One of the most important point when organizing de tournament is to work for the
interaction and participation of each and
every participant, not only during the games but also in the leisure activities such as the tournament’s dinner or other competition and basketball challenges celebrated during the weekend.
3 The Competition
TThe tournament structure is based on a homogeneous competition in order to participate in a good level championship.
Regular League2 groups for each category (at least) and 4 categories
Male U14 (Pre Infantil / Infantil Male), Female U14 (Pre Infantil / Infantil Female), Male U16 (Cadet Male) and Female U16 (Cadet Female)
All teams of each group will play against each other in the regular league to participate in the Playoffs. NO BEST RANKED TEAMS will be fixed in advanced.

4The Calendars
Lloret de Mar will host the IV Torneig of Cloenda U14 (Pre Infantil) and U16 (Cadet) during 17th and 18th June 2017.
There will be 42 games during the whole weekend, from Saturday 9:00h until the Final Games, the Awards Ceremony and the tournament closure on Sunday midday.

6Basketball Arenas
The Basketball Arenas chosen to carry out the IV Torneig of Cloenda U14 (Pre Infantil)
and U16 (Cadet) are the El Molí Pavilion, the Municipal Pavilion of Lloret de Mar and the basketball courts of the Pompeu Fabra
school.
There will be 9 basketball courts located
within a maximum of 5 minutes by foot, facilitating access and changes in order to play the games of the day.
The great atmosphere of Lloret de Mar is one of the most outstanding fact when choosing it as the most suitable place to host this tournament. Restaurants, hotels, beaches and shops surrounding the sports facilities are essential for the well-being of everyone coming to the tournament.
Sport and Basketball are the most prominent identity signs of Lloret de Mar, well-known to offer high quality services not only for its neighbours, but also for over 100.00 athletes who choose Lloret de Mar year after year to participate in different competitions and tournaments.
7The Organisation
El IV Torneig de Cloenda U14 (Pre Infantil)and U16 (Cadet) will count on the following staff that will be attending all participants during the whole weekend and that will work for the good performance of the different games.

3. Referees and scorekeeping table designated by the Catalan Basketball Federation (FCBQ).
4. BQ Volunteers – volunteers from FCBQ and CB Lloret de Mar
In the main Basketball Arena there will be a bar set by the organisers to provide food or drinks in order to satisfiy public’s needs and wishes.
The Catalan Basketball Foundation reserves itself the right to modify the competition as well as taking the decisions needed to ensure de correct perfomance and development of the Tournament.
8 Timing
All participating teams will recieve a personalized document including its Schedule, games playing and all necessary information about the Tournament.
This document will be sent to the team’s contact person some days before of the start of the tournament so that participants and their families can organize themselves correctly.

9The Registration
Once the teams have confirmed their participation in the Tournament by a writing answer which has to be sent to the address [email protected] each team will have to complete the Register Sheet, adding:
• A team photography• Club logo, number• Names and Surnames (with their numer’s jersey) of every competitor and staff.• The accommodation option chosen for each participant.
Rights Images and Data Protection will be authorized by delivering Data Protection Sheet available in the tournament’s website. (If not authorising, you will need to inform the Organization specifically).
Booking
Each team needs to pay 100€ in order to book a seat in the Tournament.These 100€ will be deducted from the final price, which have to be paid before the 13th May to the following number account:
