Levels Adjustments > Levels Levels can move and stretch the brightness range of an image histogram. It has the power to adjust brightness, contrast, and tonal range by specifying the location of complete black, complete white, and midtones in an image histogram. In general, you want your image histogram to fill the entire tonal range.
Curves Adjustments > Curves Controls the tone and contrast of the image (similar to levels). Unlike levels however, which only has black, white and midpoint control, a tonal curve is controlled using any number of anchor points and generating a curved output. Helpful tip “Increase Contrast” and other presets can be used to easily adjust the image. Or, use the droppers to define a white, midtone or black tone for the image.
