as one of Jesus’ special helpers. “Hurry,
please come to us!” the people said.
When Peter arrived
, he went to the room
where they had

ody. The w

showed Peter som
e of the clothes that Tabitha had m
ade for them. The w

ere crying.
Peter sent everyone out of the room. H
e knelt down and prayed to G
od. Then Peter said, “Tabitha, stand up!”

ened her eyes and
sat up. Then she stood up, and Peter called
her friends into the room. Tabitha’s friends w
ere happy. They told everyone w
hat had happened, and many people believed in Jesus.

ó y murió. Los seguidores de Jesús que vivían en
Jope mandaron a buscar a Pedro. Pedro era uno de los ayudantes especiales de
Jesús. “¡Por favor, ven rápido a vernos!”, dijo la gente.

Entonces Pedro dijo: “¡Tabita, levántate!”.

uy contentos. Le dijeron a todos lo que había sucedido y m
