Finally, it would be pertinent to note that the development of National/provincial assessment is a challenging and complex task.
NEAS/PEAS have generated data that can be used in research for high student achievement.
Hence, assessment can help• Teachers improve their classroom practices through assessment
and professional development.• Parents understand and use assessment findings to help their
children reach their potentials.
