REGULATED INSTITUTIONS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO LAST 12 MONTHS
* Starting in June, Banco Pichincha/Ecuador that includes Credife data became part of this group. Over 2012 Regulated Institutions experienced an active client’s increase of 902,163 (19.8%); In absolute terms, Crediamigo in Brazil was the institution in this group that experienced the highest increase during period with 314,108 clients (30.0%). Furthermore, this group grew its active portfolio by US$1,855.7 million (38.1%). And Mibanco in Peru was the institution in this group that increased the most in this variable: 302.8 million (19.5%).

SERVICE COMPANIES ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO LAST 12 MONTHS
* Starting in June, Credife/Ecuador not longer belongs to the Service Companies; it is now included in Banco Pichincha data, that is part of Regulated Institutions; for this reason there is a high decrease reflected in the chart. However, considering the two institutions which are in the group, the clients rose by 19,266 (15.1%). In absolute terms, Santander Microcredito in Brazil experienced the largest increase, with 14,789 active clients (14.3%). As far as active portfolio, this group grew at a rate of 15.5% (US$18.1 million). And also Santander Microcredito was the institution that recorded the highest growth in this variable: US$16.2 million (16.3%).

NGO’s ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO LAST 12 MONTHS
* NGO active clients increased by 12,325 (5.7%). In absolute terms, Genesis Empresarial in Guatemala experienced the highest increase, with 12,029 active clients (7.6%). As far as active portfolio, this group increase US$15.5 million (14.0%) and also Genesis Empresarial was the institution that recorded the most growth in this variable: US$10.1 million (12.0%).

AFRICA AND ASIA PARTNERS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO LAST 12 MONTHS
* Partners in Africa and Asia recorded a growth of 46,826 clients (36.8%). In absolute terms, Swadhaar in India experienced the highest increase, with 21,517 clients. As far as active portfolio, this group reflected a increasing of US$25.3 million (33.3%). And Akiba in Tanzania was the institution of the group that recorded the growth in this variable: US$7.3 million (20.0%).

The group of Regulated Institutions experienced an increase in its portfolio at risk (0.35 points). Furthermore, its indicator is below the weighted average of all institutions by 0.02 points.
Service companies increased 2.99 percentage points, which places this group above the total weighted average by 1.49 points.
The group of NGOs showed an increased by 0.34 points during this period. It remains below the weighted average of the total portfolio at risk by 1.33 points.
The group of partners in Africa and Asia decreased its portfolio at risk by 0.22 points and it still remains 1.19 points above the weighted average.
