With millions of Americans unchurched, and a sizeable percent beingyoung adults who are 18-29 years old, the opportunity to make room towelcome comes every week. As a ministry consultant, Lynette Hawkinsworks with pastors, ministry leaders, faith based nonprofit organizationsand communicators. Lynette offers practical insight and meaningfulinformation on reaching the next generation. She has spoken at nationalconferences, regional judicatories, retreats, conventions and evangelismsummits.
During her quest to find a church home, shemirrored the typical unchurched person in theUnited States. She was looking for a place tobuild a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ,
feel welcomed and be inspired to live out her purpose. Her ministry experience as an ordainedelder along with her 25 plus years of professionaltraining in the area of communications inspiredher to seek ways to help others know theimportance of reaching out, welcoming andcommunicating in ways that new comers feelwelcomed. This led her to the creation of MakeRoom to Welcome DVD and A.R.K.(Attract,
Reach, Keep) seminar where she shares practical ways to sharehospitality and communication. Lynette has conducted seminars andcoached hundreds of leaders nationally across faith traditions.
