On the occasion of the celebra�on of the European Coopera�on Day 2017,

the IPA cross-border Coopera�on Programme Interreg “Greece – The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”

and the transna�onal Coopera�on Programme Interreg V-B “Balkan – Mediterranean”

are co-organizing a film show and discussion on migra�on.

The movie “Amerika Square” will be screened (with English sub�tles).

The director Yannis Sakaridis will grace the occasion with his presence.

The film has already garnered several awards in worldwide fes�vals. It will be represen�ng Greece

in the 90th Academy Awards (Oscars) Ceremony as it has been put forward for considera�on in the category of

“Best Foreign Language Film”.
