The sister island , Gozo, like mainland Malta, is steeped
in History. It differs in the breathe-taking landscapes, high plateaus, green valleys and sandy beach coves.
Gozo is the ideal destination for the discerning traveller
in search of a relaxed environment away from pressures
and conducive to learning. From its 28,000 inhabitants
a good percentage are multinational who have made
Gozo their first home.
the Centre
Our annexe is now in the village of Sannat. International
House Gozo now offers colonial luxury holiday homes
as premises where clients are sent a tutor and courses
are conducted in the comfort of these homes. Company
personnel who travel together in small groups willingly
find time to indulge in a full immersion course under such
agreeable conditions. Also, families find it innovative andcomfortable to combine a holiday on an idyllic island with
customised courses for juniors and adults. Our discern-
ing executive clients who opt to stay in a hotel, are given
the same 5* treatment. This is not to say that we have
abondoned the group classes in Gozo. In fact, as these
are very popular during the summer, we will be offering
this service from July to September.

ILI - International House Cairo is located in a prime area
of Cairo, central, in easy reach and quiet. Cairo, whichEgyptians proudly call the Mother of All Cities, spreads
along the banks of the River Nile for 40km (25 miles)
north to south, the largest metropolis in Africa. Travel-
lers through the ages have been both fascinated and
repelled by Cairo. On its east side stands the evidence
of 2000 years of Islamic, Christian Coptic, and Jewish
culture still flourishes to this day. On its west side lies the
Ancient Egyptian city of Memphis (Giza), the renowned
capital of the Old Kingdom and the site of the Pyramids.
Full day excursions are organized by ILI each Saturday.

language of Egypt is the most widely understood in the
Middle East. The Modern Standard Arabic course is
designed to enable you to use and understand the writ-

take as many as you wish. You will join group courses
from beginners to advanced levels. Special courses,

Xian lies about 1200 kilometres south of Beijing in the
province Shaanxi. In former times the city was the start-

as Rome and was the residence of 13 dynasties. Most
well-known is the Qin-Dynasty thanks to its young ruler
Qin Shi Huang Di when two thousand years ago, he
unified seven states to the Chinese empire and became
Chinas first emperor. With a population today of eight
million, Xian is considered as a large city. Even by the
Chinese! Yet the historical buildings, the close alleys
and the city-wall from the 14th Century, which is the
most completely preserved in China, yet it still appears
like a small town.

International House Xian was created particularly
for foreigners, who want to learn Chinese where it
is spoken firsthand. And especially for those who
would like to learn a language not just by studying
vocabularies! We offer the chance to practice using
language among people, who use it every day on the
road and of course, about what they laugh about and
how they think.
Our language courses have only 4 to 8 participants and

during the course. And that promotes an inspiring class
atmosphere and a rapid learning progress. We use only
Native speakers for our students.
