MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS
In an effort to provide more clarity to you about membership numbers, we have created a Full Time
Equivalent (FTE) equation to better represent where our membership stands. The below FTE number is
found by dividing our current dues revenue by $515. Please note that this FTE should not be compared to
2016 because of the revised dues structure. However the FTE should be used to track our progress
moving forward in 2017. While we have more active members in actuality than the number below, we feel
this provides a clearer at-a-glance representation.
Total # of Members: 516
FTE # of Members: 325
Equity # of Members: 313
Dear Members,
I finally found a non-rainy day and got to play our beautiful course last week. The most
amazing things I noticed was how great the bunkers have become! Our investment in new
sand and new equipment to groom the bunkers will pay off when it becomes the full on
golf season. Our survey last fall indicated that you wanted better bunkers. Craig Benson
and his team have done an amazing job this winter delivering just that, thank you Craig!
I promise that someday soon it will stop raining and when it does your staff at MVCC
will be ready for you and your friends to experience the great place MVCC really is.
Please don’t forget about the Progressive Membership and the unique ability for your
friends to try out MVCC. If you have questions about this membership please let Adriana
or myself know and we will gladly assist!
We are only a month or so away from the WA Open and it’s going to be an amazing
event again this year. You can check out information regarding the event on our website,
just click on the WA Open link at the top of the home page! Chris Manley will be
sending you more information regarding the auction and parties as we get closer. Don’t
forget you can buy raffle tickets right now in the golf shop and office!
Finally, the entire staff cannot wait for spring and for all of you to show up and enjoy
your Club. If there is something we can do for you to get ready for the season let us
know! The golf shop is stock full of everything you need for the season come check it
out!
