Important Attributes of a Paired Course
Course meets concurrently/simultaneously in the same room for 4 hrs. per week (extra time to start assignments).
Course is team taught with one Academic instructor and one Developmental instructor.
Both instructors are in the room at the same time lending support to the delivery of academic material and just in time remedial concepts.
One grade for GenEd academic course; NCBM is “S” or “U”.

My Co-Requisite Paired Course: _______________________________
-
“I think with the little knowledge in math it takes to
graduate high school or get a GED, this S [now
known as “L” series] grant teaching method should
be the standard for all college math classes at the
technical, community, and junior college levels.”
“This course is great.. It is a great refresher for
0200 [Intermediate Algebra] and really helped
me grasp the various concepts of algebra.”
“Learned a lot from this class and would take more math and science classes if they were all set up like this.”
“I like that the class was almost two hours long. It allowed for adequate time to teach the lesson and practice.”
