FARMER TRAININGFamilyFarmed’s farmer training program has trained 14,700+
farmers in 43 states on Wholesale Success, Direct Market Success
and On-Farm Food Safety.
GOOD FOOD IS GOOD MEDICINEAn initiative to create awareness and understanding of how food choices
affect health in the Chicago area, by providing tools and coaching that
foster empowerment and equity in health outcomes.
GOOD FOOD ACCELERATOR & GFA EXTENSIONLocated at 1871, The nation’s first accelerator focused on building supply
chains for Good Food. GFA Extension fosters development of food
businesses in underserved communities, as well as serves non-Accelerator
cohort businesses needing highly specific assistance that does not require
participation in the six-month Accelerator intensive.
MARKET DEVELOPMENTOur Market Development Program has stimulated hundreds of millions of
dollars in local food sales. We make connections with food producers &
local trade buyers to build the supply and sales of Good Food. Trade
buyers include: UNFI, U.S. Foods, Local Foods, Nature’s Path, KeHE
Distribution and others.
