“This event allows residents and business owners to help celebrate our community”, said Dellwood
Mayor Reggie Jones. “We are looking forward to showcasing our many businesses and talent in the
City of Dellwood,” added Jones.
At the Business Expo and Health Fair, which begins at 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Dellwood

Dellwood, Ferguson and Jennings businesses and organizations, including; Best Insurance/Always

About North County Incorporated
North County Inc. is a regional development organization which acts as a catalyst to define and

After months of turmoil and rebuilding, a neighboring Ferguson city came together to
get the community back on track.
Diamond Johnson, 6, lives on West Florissant in Dellwood with her mother. They live just a
few blocks away from the businesses that were set on fire during the unrest last
November. It explains why Diamond Johnson and her mother, Rosalyn, were excited to
see a parade full of community leaders coming down their street this morning.
Rosalyn Johnson says it was uplifting.
"It was very nice, the change of spirit, they have a change of heart," she said.
The parade and a business expo and health fair were all part of the annual Dellwood
Community Day.
Mayor Reggie Jones says it had a bigger turn out this year.
"The incidents that happened in August of last year impacted Dellwood as much if not
more than Ferguson. It's important that if we are going to move this area forward, that
we do it together," he said.
One of the strong supporters of Dellwood Community Day is North County Inc., a non-
profit organization comprised of businesses, chambers of commerce, churches, law
enforcement agencies and other institutions.
In addition to participating in Dellwood Community Day, city leaders are also now
taking part in a new group called the West Florissant Business Association. It's a
combination of Dellwood and Ferguson business owners who meet once a month to
get updates on what's going on in the city and share new ideas.
