Colorful Silhouettes TutorialAugust/September 2011
This technique was contributed and filmed by Staff Writer Beth Norman. The contrast betweenthe white embossing and the solid stamped image is stunning.
Supplies: - Dye Inks in several colors- White Embossing Powder- Black Embossing Powder- Embossing Buddy/Anti-Static Bag- Sponges (not pictured)- VersaMark Ink Pad- Heat Gun- Silhouette, Bold or Solid Style Stamp
Step One:Sponge ink onto cardstock, covering it completely with patches of color. Blend the colors together with the sponges.
Step Two:Rub the embossing buddy over the sponged cardstock.

Step Three:Cover stamp with VersaMark and stamp onto cardstock.
Step Four:Cover with white embossing powder and heat emboss.
Step Five:Ink solid stamp with VersaMark.
Step Six:Stamp Image on embossed cardstock, add black embossing powder and heat emboss. se as desired.
