Many thanks to those of yow crew who volunteered at our annual Pig & Oyster Festfundraiser on Saturday, October 8h. This event raised thousands of dollars for themuseum and we couldn't have done it without volunteers to help setup, facilitate, andcleanup the event.

In particular, thanks goes to Donald Lee Merritt, Erin Walsh, Jennifer Sellers, AnthonyVu, and Danta Goode. The work done by this group was a great gift to us andimmeasurably helped our mission to honor and preserve the maritime heritage of thelocal area as well as that of the United States Life-Saving Service and United StatesCoast Guard. In addition, the visible support of the Coast Guard in our efforts is also agreat signal to the public of the relevance and importance of our mission and role in thecommunity.
