This event raised thousands of dollars for the museum and we couldn't have done it without volunteers to help setup, facilitate, and cleanup the event. In particular, thanks goes to Donald Lee Merritt, Erin Walsh, Jennifer Sellers, Anthony Vu, and Danta Goode. The work done by this group was a great gift to us and immeasurably helped our mission to honor and preserve the maritime heritage of the local area as well as that of the United States Life-Saving Service and United States Coast Guard. In addition, the visible support of the Coast Guard in our efforts is also a great signal to the public of the relevance and importance of our mission and role in the community. It is so exciting for us to make connections with the members of the present day organization we stand for, and it is surely a key to our future success" We look forrvard to working with you in the future and are eager to support your efforts however we can.
