PROGRAMME INFORMATION cont...Year ThreeThis year is centred on preparing students for their first field placement. Students will have developed sufficient skills to undertake a monitored and supervised field placement where they will observe and participate in service delivery.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIESGraduates from this programme can seek employment in a variety of social work or social service agencies including; Statutory social work (Oranga Tamariki, DHB, Corrections), Barnardos, Women’s Refuge, disabilities sector, Māori and Pacific health and social services, central and local government, Family Start, child protection, aged care and mental health.
