he Bachelor in Services Management seeks to train managers and entrepreneurs over a three-year period to work in the various services professions. This programme emphasises economic activities where French businesses have wide international recognition and plan to make major recruitment investments in the coming years. The BMS combines management training with technical instruction focused on the specific skills and expertise used in these professions. The programme is divided up into two tracks centred on two service sectors while relying on its partnership with a prestigious brand recognised in its specific field:
• The Retail track is based on the existing EC@L curriculum, but has been completely redesigned to take into account the various changes in this sector • The "Food and Beverage" Management track is organised in partnership with the École Fauchon • The Bachelor in Services Management aims to provide future managers with the core expertise and knowledge of customer relations, digital technology and other innovations, entrepreneurial spirit and CSR*.

The purpose of the Bachelor in Services Management (BMS) is to train tomorrow’s service managers in sectors undergoing sweeping technological and digital changes. It offers a comprehensive training programme that incorporates technological and digital innovation applied to the service industries, and customer experience as well as the fundamentals of management and entrepreneurship. All of it further backed by a real-life, practical application of the profession that you are focused on.
You will take a core curriculum over three years and select a specialisation in the first year of your programme. This specialisation is supported by two renowned schools: EC@L NEOMA for the retail professions, including physical or digital retail, food or specialised products (hardware, sport, cosmetics, ready-to-wear, etc.), and École Fauchon for professions related to gastronomy.

EC@L is the name of the former NEOMA programme that, since 1962, has trained managers in all the forms of mass retail. Young graduates can then assume top managerial positions with major retail brands. Retail is one of the sectors recognized for French excellence, holding in fact a special place since France is one of the leading retail countries with some of its brands among the most renowned in the world. The integrated distribution models produce first-rate international performance with Carrefour in 3rd place worldwide and Auchan in 10th. This is also the case for specialised retail where Adeo Group (Leroy Merlin) holds the 3rd position globally and Decathlon the 2nd. The sector has already experienced sharp growth in the past several months and is projected to become even more dynamic, spurred on by the Covid-19 pandemic, making for a very promising recruitment outlook for young graduates.
The NEOMA-EC@L diploma will thus allow you to quickly access the management positions in all retail sectors or continue on to a Master’s degree.

COMPANY WORK EXPERIENCEProfessional experience allows students to learn about the realities within companies. This experience can be in the form of missions in companies supervised by a teacher from the school. These are short missions at the end of the first or second semester for quick immersion in the chosen sectors of activity. In years 2 and 3, students do longer periods of immersion in the company, either in a 6 month internship or an apprenticeship. All the internships can be done in the form of business start-up. Students are then assisted by NEOMA professors involved in the school’s Incubator.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AT THE CORE OF THE DEGREE The track in Food & Beverage industry management upgrades its sector needs and trends by going beyond traditional French culinary methods. This modern approach makes it possible for the students to apply to a plethora of jobs.
Students put to practice professional techniques in the school’s workshops and laboratories, but also directly in the profession so they can experience its day-to-day challenges. Students are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction in our practice restaurants and bars as well as in our concept store.
In the third year, students also have the opportunity to develop their creative skills by organising and running different food concepts: in a freight container transformed into a restaurant, food trucks, cocktail receptions and a restaurant with table service.

The NEOMA Business School Rouen campus is located on a 7-hectare wooded area and offers students an ideal setting. The campus has first-rate teaching equipment: stock trading rooms, student society offices, multimedia library, Student life spaces, e-learning platform, remote access to school databases and documentary material (e-books, electronic periodicals, specialised databases, etc.).
Rouen offers numerous housing options in the city centre (rooms, studios, flats, etc.), where 90% of students live. Rent is around €250 per month for a 25 m2 flat (including housing benefits). Accommodation costs can be reduced as students often choose to live in flat shares.

They can approve loans up to €15,000 for students less than 28 years of age from France, the European Union or the European Economic Area, regardless of income with no need for parental or third-party co-signing.

Banks grant loans at a preferential rate of about 1% to students attending Grandes Ecoles, as long as you have a guarantor. We organise a “banking fair” at the beginning of each school year on our campuses, attended by representatives of around a dozen banks who you can meet to arrange a loan.
• The Eiffel scholarship. The Eiffel scholarship (bourse Eiffel) is granted by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to international students who live outside France and who show great interest in studying in France.
• NEOMA Business School Foundation scholarships. Our Foundation supports equal opportunities in higher education. If you encounter financial difficulties, the foundation may award you an academic scholarship that can cover up to 50% of your tuition fees. Student applications for financial assistance are assessed at two annual meetings, based on three criteria:
