weeks away from school!

We will be conducting an end of term Assembly tomorrow from 2.00pm. At the Assembly, John Reid will be

THANK YOU
Emily & Luke would like to pass on a very big heart felt thank you to the wider school community for their
generosity and support after their recent house fire. They have been flooded with an amazing amount of items
and food that have helped them get back on their feet quickly. They have recently moved into a new place and
are very appreciative of the help they have had in getting things back to normal.

the Bendigo District Athletic Championships.

HOLIDAY PROGRAM

holiday program in the upcoming holidays. Details

for further information. Places are filling fast so be
quick.
See flyer below for further details.
SWIMMING
Our whole school Swimming Program is on during the first week of Term Four. We will again be travelling
to the Eaglehawk YMCA indoor pool and will engage their swimming instructors to teach our students in
groups of 8-10.
We will complete our Swimming Program in two groups, with approx. 50-55 students in each group. Our
sessions will run each day from 11am (Gr 2/3/4) and 11.40am (P/1 & 5/6). We will be travelling by bus.
We are anticipating that being the first week back next term, forgetting swimming gear on the first
Monday back could be an issue. We are suggesting families may want to bring in a named bag tomorrow
with bathers, goggles, towel, change of underpants if required, and leave it in the classrooms ready for
day 1.
PROGRESSIVE DINNER
Families are encouraged to take part in the upcoming Progressive Dinner on October 14th to
raise funds for the school.
After gathering at the Tavern at 5.30pm, the bus will trek to the golf club for entrée, the
Farmers Arms for mains and back to the Tavern for dessert.
A great night is guaranteed with raffles, fun competitions and lots of ‘in-house’ entertainment along the way.
For tickets, contact Corrine on 0438 090 871.
Funds raised will go towards purchasing some new outdoor furniture for the students.
If you have any contacts who may be able to support with prizes/gifts etc. please contact the school.
