1.Question: In the specs it states 100% VT and 100% of spool weld RT ( minimum one )and all tie in welds to existing 100% RT . Are you asking for 100% RT ? Or Just 100% VT ON shop minimum 1 shot per shop spool and 100%RT & VT on tie inns.
Answer: Note 8 on drawings should read: 100% of spool welds to be visually inspected, and 10% of spool welds (a minimum of one per welder) to be radiograph inspected. All tie-in welds to existing lines are to be 100% radiograph inspected.
2.Question & Answer: Could you please provide the following specifications for the strainers requested for this project; Material: Cast iron Pressure: Rated 125 Connection: Flanged Style: Wye Screen Size: 1/8” holes Mesh Size (if required): Fine brass mesh for start up 3.Question: Is there a model number required for the Tour & Anderson Balancing Valve? Answer: Tour and Andersson TA Series 788 Flanged End (Class 150 RF, ASME/ANSI B16.42) 4.Question: Is there a model number and set pressures for the pressure relief valve? Answer: Watts 75# set

5.Question There is no standard for the threaded valves for chem pot/ filter. Are they gate, globe or ball valves, and what is the rating required? Answer: 600 WOG locking ball valves 6.Question: Can anything 2” and under be socket welded not butt welded? Answer: Anything NPS 1 ½” and under can be socket welded; anything NPS 2” and larger is to be butt welded. 7.Question: What is the rating requirements on the brass drain valves?
Answer: 600 WOG Locking ball valves hose bib adapter and cap 8.Question: The heat exchanger connection will be socket weld connection not threaded?
Answer: Threaded with union, see attached specifications (University supplied)
9.Question: Is there a specific manufacturer/model required for the chem pots/filters? Answer: Shelco FOC-786 with 5 micron string wound filter to fit, plus spare each
10.Question: Can we hydro test through the heat exchangers? Answer: No 11.Question Note # 8 on the drawings states 100% of welds to be radiograph inspected (a minimum of one) please claifty, is it 100% NDT or a minimum of 1 weld per line excluding the tie-in welds?
Answer: The latter, see revised Note 8 provided.
12.Question What are the dimensions of the heat exchangers? Answer: Specifications provided.
