    5.Question There is no standard for the threaded valves for chem pot/ filter. Are they gate, globe or ball valves, and what is the rating required? Answer: 600 WOG locking ball valves 6.Question: Can anything 2” and under be socket welded not butt welded? Answer: Anything NPS 1 ½” and under can be socket welded; anything NPS 2” and larger is to be butt welded. 7.Question: What is the rating requirements on the brass drain valves?

    Answer: 600 WOG Locking ball valves hose bib adapter and cap 8.Question: The heat exchanger connection will be socket weld connection not threaded?

    Answer: Threaded with union, see attached specifications (University supplied)

    9.Question: Is there a specific manufacturer/model required for the chem pots/filters? Answer: Shelco FOC-786 with 5 micron string wound filter to fit, plus spare each

    10.Question: Can we hydro test through the heat exchangers? Answer: No 11.Question Note # 8 on the drawings states 100% of welds to be radiograph inspected (a minimum of one) please claifty, is it 100% NDT or a minimum of 1 weld per line excluding the tie-in welds?

    Answer: The latter, see revised Note 8 provided.

    12.Question What are the dimensions of the heat exchangers? Answer: Specifications provided.
