BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY The City of Santa Fe Parks and Recreation Department, is soliciting written quotations to provide sports officiating and score keeping services for recreation leagues got three locations: Genoveva Chavez Community Center, Fort Marcy Recreation Complex, and Salvador Perez Recreation Complex. Multiple awards will be given in view of numerous leagues which overlap at the different recreation Centers. A minimum of three contractors is required per game with hundreds of games per year. SCOPE OF SERVICES Services as a game referee or scorekeeper are to be provided at times and locations specified according to the various sports leagues held at different dates, times and locations:
Genoveva Chavez Community Center located at 3221 Rodeo Road.
Fort Marcy Recreation Complex located at 490 Bishops Lodge Road.
Salvador Perez Recreation Complex located at 601 Alta Vista Street.
*Locations may also include some Santa Fe Public school gymnasiums.
1. Services will include season and tournament games in the evenings and on weekends. 2. League games are approximately 1 to 2 hours long, depending on the sport. 3. Leagues include, but are not limited to: basketball, volleyball, soccer, table tennis, pickle ball, badminton,
and flag football. 4. Leagues may include all ages, genders, and abilities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. A minimum of 1 year experience in league officiating and/or monitoring and scorekeeping. 2. Must provide a resume, certificate or reference to prove experience. 3. Must acquire and pass a NM Department of Public Safety background check. 4. Must provide proof of general liability insurance. 5. Must obtain a City of Santa Fe Business License. 6. Must show proof of a CRS identification number.
EVALUATION All qualifications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
75% Experience and Knowledge with officiating and/or monitoring and scorekeeping in at least one of the sports listed above.
25% Proof of documentation listed in qualification requirements. Parks and Recreation Complex Manager, Recreation Section Manager or Recreation Coordinators will approve candidates based on the provided information. All copies of documentation must be complete at time of acceptance.
SUBMITTAL REQURIEMENTS
1. A formal quote stating the cost of estimated services for 1 fiscal year. 2. Copy of NM Department of Public Safety background check. 3. Copy of Certificate of Insurance with proof of general liability insurance. 4. Copy of current City of Santa Fe Business License. 5. Copy of CRS number.
