2. Payment of hotel bills Unless arrangements have been made with specific European and Asian Partners, all Asian and European Experts will be responsible for their own hotel bills. Standard Room Rate with breakfast is USD 147+++ per night for single occupancy (Rate quoted is subject to 10% Service Charge, 8% Tourism Goods & Service Tax, and Government Bed Tax of US$08.00 per person per night)
3. Meals - Civil Aviation Authority of Maldives will provide Lunches and Coffee/Tea-‐Breaks for every working
day. - Other meals to be taken care of by the delegates themselves.
4. Transportation between Bandos Resort and meeting venue The meeting venue located approximately 60 minutes by car from the Suwannabhumi International Airport. Upon request, the hotel can arrange pick up at THB 2,900 nett for a private car. Local taxi and limousine service are also available at the airport arrival hall.

Practical Information Maldives Currency Maldives Rufiyaa (MVR) Exchange rate indicators taken in JUNE 2013 (indicative): 1 EUR ~ 19.830 MVR 1 USD ~ 15.319 MVR Credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club and American Express are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Credit cards may be used to obtain local currency at the airport and at all the cash dispensers.
Medical and Insurance Coverage
The project does not provide medical and insurance cover for the delegates. We recommend that delegates take out necessary insurance in their home country to cover accidents, medical expenses and loss of personal belonging during the visit.
