Zonta International Founded 1919 in Buffalo, New York Today there are approximately 28,400 members in 1123
clubs in more than 65 countries The Zonta International Board:
Directs the affairs of Zonta International Consists of four elected officers, who constitutes the executive

Zonta International Districts:
For administrative purposes, Zonta International divides the world into districts
Each district is supervised by an elected governor and elected district board
The elected officers of the district are: Governor Lieutenant Governor Area Directors Treasurer Secretary (appointed by the governor and has no vote)
Areas: Districts are divided into areas
Clubs: The basic organizational unit of Zonta International

Zonta International Foundation Founded in 1984 Administers the service programs and projects of
Zonta International Receives, raises and invests funds for the service
programs of Zonta International Foundation monies are for the main part donated
by Zonta Clubs and individual members Recommended that each Zonta Club give 1/3 of
service funds raised to the Foundation

Robert’s Rules of Order Parliamentary procedures form a consistent
set of rules that govern voting assemblies that promote justice and order
Rules are intended to protect the rights of the individual, the minority, the absentee and the organization

International is the current edition of Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised
