With more than 30,000 members belonging to more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 67 countries and geographic areas, Zontians all over the world volunteer their time, talents and support to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship programs aimed at fulfilling Zonta’s mission and objectives. Our Club Vision & Mission 2016 – 2018 (Please align with Zonta International goals and Zonta District 17 Goals in your club’s vision and mission statement) Goals #1: Our service programs will reflect on and enhance our mission. We will continue to advocate an end to violence against women. To achieve this, we will work with local and national governments and NGOs. We will continue to honor the outstanding women in the police service who have done us proud through our nationwide search for the Ten Outstanding Policewomen. Goal #2: In our advocacy on women’s rights, we will relentlessly pursue our goal to achieve gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls. We will take this advocacy to the next level: we will get our men engaged as advocacy partners through our HeforShe Campaign. Goal #3: Our membership goal will be to build and sustain a vibrant membership. This early, we will engage the next generation of gender equality advocates. We will transition our Golden Z Club members and former scholars to full Zonta membership. We will help Zonta International achieve its membership target of a net 5% growth in membership. Goal #4: We will maintain our resources to support our mission and vision fulfilment. We will make more use of our website and social networking sites to promote our advocacies. And to help fund more Zonta projects, we achieve our target goals for contributions to the Zonta International Foundation. Goal #5: We will be celebrating our Centennial Anniversary in 2019. This early, we will prepare for this once in a lifetime occasion. I will Not all organizations survive a hundred years of existence.

The Ten Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines is an annual project of the Zonta Club of Makati - Paseo de Roxas for the past 14 year, the search honors 10 policewomen all over the Philippines in recognition to their exemplary service to the country. The TOPWP is an annual competition aims to discover and recognize the efforts and achievements of the female members of our national police force. The winners are selected based on their service records and achievements. Law enforcement has long been a male dominated profession and these women are shining examples that women are equally capable as their male counterparts regardless of the field of work like police community relations, intelligence, investigations, and special operations by providing their utmost dedication and commitment

To attract new members, we have to be aggressive to ask someone to join the club, or invite and bring a
guest to our meeting, ask every member to bring at least 2 prospects to the membership chairperson in
the meeting.
To retain quality members, we should always recognize and reward members for their achievements,
remember their birthdays or anniversary by bringing birthday cakes during the meetings, have
fellowship once a month in a member’s home or in a restaurant, treat members once in a while and most
of all give them the best support experience possible.
